Paddle Out for Unity

During the midst of Corona Virus, our feeds have been flooded with cases of police brutality and injustice towards people of color and they must not be ignored.

To show support and solidarity with the #BlackLivesMatter movement, the South Florida Surf Community joined together on July 20, 2020, International Surfing Day for a unity paddle out.

While I could not fully attend the event, I’m so proud of the South Florida Surf Community for coming together on international surfing day for a cause we should all be standing up for.

Thank you to everyone who put this together (special shout out to @_missea) and let us all continue to be advocates for the Black community and for all people of color. #bebetter #dobetter.
